I had never seen, nor heard of a red winged black bird till I moved to IL. Then today I learned that some also have a tinge of yellow as well as red. This is one of them. When their wings are spanned out there's a red/yellow band @ the armpit.
If ya wanna use 'em, go for it. Just make sure my ID stays on them
