Out on a drive

Wayne and I took a drive today, to the Mighty Mississippi River. Crossed over into Iowa, had lunch, crossed back into Illinois. The continued to follow along a scenic road for several miles, then headed home. making a few stops along the way.

This shot was taken from a rest stop along the way.

I love to drive around and look at stuff; somehow, though, when I drive an hour to shop and use half a tank of gas....I don't like that. The depth of field on this is superb..
