This vehicle hasn't been repainted-this is actually New Old Stock (NOS).
This vehicle is brand new and came out of long term storage as a giftb to Canada when Russia was getting rid of armoured vehicles in the mid 1990's. This came complete- all the manuals, tools, vision blocks, radios, periscopes, etc. The tool boxes were still lined with protective plastic!
