Is turning endlessly.

Whether the horses
ever recognize their companions -
Who knows?

Are we all just solo travelers
in an endless spin?
or are we meant
to journey together?

We circle side-by-side
through life –

only the brave jump off
and go their own way
towards the unknown.

What will the horizon bring?

We will never know
