As in the west, cell phones are ubiquitous and even in the remote rural areas everyone seems to have them. This is quite an achievement in a mountainous country like Bhutan.
The school uniform reflects the national Bhutanese dress with a wrap-around, long skirt of beautiful, hand-woven material with a blouse and jacket.
