This is meaningful to me-here is one of my sticks on a trip. My wonderful sister took this of her traveling companion at the top of Sawnee Mountain after a hike up to the "Indian Seats." This is an Eastern Cedar that I'm still harvesting. It's a huge tree that uprooted probably five years ago. I cut several really good sticks off it-and now I'm now getting mostly logs from it...still plenty of projects in that guy that died probably five years ago!

The view from here, is nothing near to what it is for you... Yes, the stick traveled to my mountain cathedral. The first few steps we were a bit awkward, and I was wishing I had my shorter companion..but.. we found our rhythm and bonded this trip. :)
