This is the first stick I ever attempted and definitely beginner's luck. The rest of the story is on the full length pictures of "Old Timer." I loved the stick and thought it was finished, but it seemed to be missing something. I wanted it to have a Native American feel, so I embedded a Sacajawea Dollar in the head, and coated it with Bar Top glaze-the super thick stuff that dries rock hard.
So it honors the wonderful lady who carried her baby over 4000 miles to guide Lewis and Clarke into the Northwest.
