Griffon vulture gliding, Monfrague

Monfrague, Extremadura, Spain

One of the great highlights of our trip was getting pretty close to some of these chaps!
We did a quick detour via Monfrague, (on our way down to our 'finca'), just to get a taste
of the place. We were treated to the most monumental flypast by around 150 griffons!

A great shot with the 70-200 , wings open and gliding so gracefully.
