Just recently, one of my dear Pbase friends messaged me to ask how my wife, Carole,
was doing and it occurred to me that I haven't given you an update for quite a while…

Well, as you can see, she is doing really well. Physically, she is now in full remission and the last three biopsies have
all shown her blood to be free of leukaemia. And, emotionally, the opportunity to visit our son, daughter-in-law and
first grandchild, in Canada, has made a huge difference to Carole's confidence and overall sense of wellbeing. While
we were there she was able to do all the normal grandmotherly things and that undoubtedly gave her a real boost.

So, we're very thankful! Grateful for prayers answered and also for so much support from friends all over the world.

I have to say that I have never experienced such genuine concern on any other photo web site I have ever tried ~ and
I've tried a few! So thank you, dear Pbase friends, for making this site unique with respect to that dimension of friendship.
