The National Geographic Explorer is the newest addition to the fleet managed by a
joint effort between National Geographic and Lindblad Expeditions. The Explorer
is a fully stabilized, ice-class vessel enabling it to navigate polar passages.
The ship carries kayaks and a fleet of Zodiac landing craft. We had a full
compliment of 144 guests on board plus about 100 staff and crew.
