Taken at the 2004 Joplin AirFest, this highly modified Sukhoi 26MX now has a 780HP Walter M601T turbo-jet engine and is claimed to be the most powerful weight/trust ratio of any propeller driven aircraft in the world and is under constant revision. It is owned and flown by Dr. Ray Vetsch, a renowned heart surgeon of Joplin, Missouri.
