12-APR-2008 Mark A. Krauss

Bottles 4, 5, 6 and 7

Palace of the Legion of Honor, San Francisco, CA

These wonderfully fired flasks were presented behind an acrylic cover in the main hall of the museum yet they photographed amazingly well.
Presented with a tip of the hat to Paul, the master of in-the-case shots, who was called away on business.

Nicely shot. Is that a reflection of you in the blue bottle?

This is a beautiful shot, Mark. Would never guess there was a window in front. Great colors and light.

Gorgeous colors, Mark. Really good sharpness for 1/10 sec. I'm guessing the combined mass of the D3 and the 28-70 make slow handheld shots a little easier than they'd be with a lighter camera and lens?
