Nice moody shot. I remember crossing El Camino Real when we were out there. For some reason, I'm thinking there is something historic about that road?? Maybe it was in a song?

I think the two people in this image make the shot. I like how the street lights make a little window frame around the buildings. There something a little ominous about the picture because there are no cars. You would expect there to be a lot of cars with this many lanes. You even have a green light but no cars are going through. Very end of the world feel.

People were better at holding still for 1/2 sec exposures in the 1860's when Matthew Brady was pushing the shutter button. ;)
