Revisiting http://www.pbase.com/mkrauss/image/105677452 and processing it as a B&W with NX2

I like how this evokes a feeling of "what's over there?" or what's next for me, photographically. As far as the image, the point/counterpoint of the dark fallen log in the lower left foreground and the bright tunnel mouth in the distant right of the frame gives the image some dynamic balance and visual tension. The chessboard-like set up of the straight line of straight trees on image right is accentuated by the lone tree forward in the light zone. It's remeniscent of a Bishops Pawn opening move. Straight trees lined up against the conifirs.
Then again, it could just be a pretty path in the woods.
