Île Noire (feu antérieur)

near Carantec, France

This is the front light of the entrance range for the Rade (Roads) de Morlaix; the Phare de la Lande(FRA-329) is the rear light. The keeper's house was added in 1879 to expand the crowded quarters available within the tower. In 1973 the lighthouse was automated and converted to wind power.
