As with you and Phil, I, too, was captivated by this child. I included several pictures of her in my galleries because she was such an exceptional subject.....and because I can't make choices!!!!!

Because she is so young, tourists may well be a new thing in her life, even though they march through her neighborhood every day.

She was so patient with us - for a while. I wonder how often tourists walk down her alley.

We each took pictures of this child, only seconds apart. I zoom in a bit more than you, but the
hand positions are identical. Yet in that brief second between images, her expression has changed. In yours, there is an edge to her shyness -- she appears almost a bit fearful. In mine, athttp://www.pbase.com/image/86311225 , her apprehension has melted a bit. We may shoot the same subject, yet we each have a different story to tell.
