Yaoweee
Kuala Lumpur, September 2007

These students at the mosque were getting a lesson in tooth brushing. The boy on the right seems to be enjoying himself.

Wonderful animated shot Tim, such expressive faces, in particular the boy in front in his leading role. Fantastic capture.

This is one of those very special shots that deserves a resounding "yaoweee"! You were certainly in the right place at the right time and took amazing advantage of it. This image is a lesson in itself with a beginning, a middle, and an ending....seen so well by the teacher that you are!

LIke three pages in a flipbook! I love the progression these three boys seem to make, but the cool thing is that it's not.

Terrific -- it's a sequence within a single image. I used a similar concept on this subject, only I abstracted all but one of the players to let the final child make the point. (http://www.pbase.com/image/86307179 ) I love the way the heads and the toothbrushes move downwards, and the expression on the last child's face makes an exclamation point.
