Vision Care
Muar, Malaysia - September 2007

As we travel about taking our images, many people look at what we are photographing and seem to wonder what in the heck we see. We see their world with new eyes - to them it is every day stuff. I purposely did not blur the woman in the distance. That is Cecilia our fellow photographer.

I applaud your vision for seeing the possibilities of this scene.

It's all about vision! I love the guy who is taking all of this in.

Yes, Rosemarie, Vision Care has a double meaning here. Both of us wear glasses. And I am taking great care to use my vision well.

LOL even from the thumbnail I recognized Phil. I especially like the layered meanings from the sign, Vision Care. Both men are wearing glasses, and Phil uses his camera to express his vision.

I love the way the man watches me at work here -- he brings his arms inwards, and is so relaxed. I am gasping for air. Two old geezers, one passive, the other active. (I see you also managed to get Celia's historic pink trousers in the shot.) I want to add this to my "As others see me gallery" because it not only says how you see me at this moment in Maur, but also how at least one Maurian saw me.
