Another wonderfully expressive image. You choose to stress the detail of part of the bedspring, and imply the presence of the ruins behind it in soft focus, while I backed off a bit and contrasted the form of the bed springs to the form of the ruins in my own image athttp://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/75092318 Your image is abstract and eloquent -- stressing the ravages of time. It leaves much room for the imagination, while my image is less abstract in order to compare the ups and downs of the bed springs to the ups and downs of the ruins. I owe you a debt of gratitude for calling my attention to this relationship -- I saw you making this image, and came over and made my own interpretation exactly ten seconds after you made yours.
