This is one of your most abstract images in the gallery, and one of the most successful in terms of contrasts. You juxtapose light on shadow, brown on white on blue with the context of texture and geometry, to capture the character of New Mexico's historic architecture. And incongruously tucked into the middle of it all are those small and fragile grasses that have found a home on this rooftop!
