Thank you for sharing your fabulous work. I have a "thing" for old trees and clouds. I especially enjoyed the Elam Bend series. Best of luck in your works.

would like to contact the owner of the old Patton Place near McFall - my husband's family(Patton - Fore) was from that area and we have little info

One of the high lights of my life while taking chemo from breast cancer was to know there would always be another rainbow. Rainbows only last for a short time but the memory of the beautiful colors in the sky that God gave a smile to our heart with is ever lasting. I still look for rainbows in everything I do.

Dear Dan Bush, Thank you for sharing your photos. The double rainbow over the Tree @ Elam came over the net a while back. SO Beautiful, I passed the pleasure on. It's good to know who the source of the work is. Next time I can give you credit.
Hope you enjoy your gift 10 X's more than all the pleasure it brings people! CAt South Dakota

Thanks for your beautiful rainbows. I, too, once came upon the beginning of a rainbow, entering a stretch of winding, canyon highway in Northern New Mexico. It sprang out of a nest of boulders like magic . . . an especially moving sight after having just missed being in a collision minutes before. Very powerful.

Keep chasing rainbows, Eileen

Your photos are incredible. My daugther and I always loved seeing rainbows together as she was growing up. I have seen one double rainbow that I can remember in my 50+ years. And yes I took some photos. None of those photos were as fantastic as yours. You are lucky enough to have seen a lot of them. Thank you for sharing them.

Dan, Imagine my surprise when I received an email while I was visiting in Oklahoma.
It was from my cousin in California informing me of your pictures of the rainbow at
McFall. She had no idea that although I dont live there, I own part of the old Patton place also near McFall as you know! So your pictures are well traveled and spectacular
I might add, especially when I know exactly where they were taken. :)

Dear Dan:

Your photograph of the full rainbow with the tree, the one you say is the first one you made of the complete bow, is... well, Cosmic! You make us really feel nature. Thank you.

Thanks for the fantastic pics. Rainbows are special to me ever since my new husband and I drove through the end of one on our honeymoon in Colorado in 1965. Though we saw no pot of gold, it did cast a golden glow on us for an instant, making us feel blessed as we began our life together for these, so far, 41 years this August.

The rainbow pictures of the tree taken near Elam. MO. are fabulous.
In Memphis, TN., in the floor of The River Walk they have a scale model of the Miss. River and its tributaries which shows the river before and after it altered its' course.

Dan,
How very beautiful! My son would have loved this. He was quite a camera bug,and very good I may add. A lot of his work was in New Mexico where he lived and traveled around. We lost him to cancer in Jan. of this year.
I shall file this page to look at time and again.
