Lots of these big noisy jays in/around Steamboat Springs. This one was captured along Butcher Knife canyon.

From the thumbnail I was almost ready to swear that an Australian Pied Butcherbird http://www.pbase.com/donfranklin/image/152539966) had turned up in Colorado. But the bill on this bird isn't vicious enough! Nice shot of an attractive bird.
