Back in 2005, my parents tried to sell their house, but it never sold. This winter they put it back on
the market and it sold a few weeks ago!! Though not the house I grew up in, it was still hard to see them sell
this house, as it has been the home “we” have owned the longest. Seeing their excitement about the (one-story!)
patio home they are moving into in a retirement community has changed any mixed emotions I’ve had!

Things change, Mindy. Nice to have this to remember the sale. Obviously a huge step in your parents' lives. Hope they flourish in their new place.

A nice cheery shot symbolizing a very stressful experience. But one gets through it and it all turns out for the best.

Mindy, my Mom just recently made the exact same move.......so I do know how you must feel! However, my Mom just loves her small two bedroom home, I had never seen her so excited. May your parents enjoy a new changes in life~

I can imagine your mixed emotions, but let's wish them both well in their new place, and it's great to know they are excited about the change.

The fact that ANY home sells these days is a momentous occasion.
