Thank you for all of your good thoughts and wishes concerning my ongoing pain/feet problems! A few of you are aware of the fact that my foot surgeon
was deployed to Iraq recently. And though this has put a slight twist in my treatment program, my prayers are for a wonderful surgeon’s safety!
So, end of whining!!

Today, technically, is my One-Year PAD Anniversary. By the calendar at least! Unfortunately, I cannot claim to have posted 365 photos throughout this last year. And as you all know, I have sometimes fallen back on the PPAD (processed photo a day) when a true PAD didn’t seem possible.
Despite all this, I have learned so much interacting with you all!

When I joined Pbase a little over a year ago, I had just picked up my first digital camera. I was a die-hard film photographer who was not anxious to
convert!! And though I still shoot film (*gasp*), this experience has changed my entire outlook! And in addition to all that I have learned
from this experience, I have made some of the most incredible and caring friends in the process! Thank you to each of you!!

I haven’t decided if I’m going to go for a PAD – Year II, or strictly post as I can for now. Which is sort of what I’ve been doing most recently anyway! ;-)
Either way, I look forward to continuing to be a part of this very special community of photographers and friends!
