Cemetery in Goldfield II

Goldfield is called a ghost town, but there are still some inhabitants living there. In talking with one of the few residents, we learned that a vein of gold has been discovered under the highway, just beyond the town. It is being decided whether it would be worthwhile to mine this gold!

It looks very hot and dry. No wonder all those people died.

I find cemetaries fascinating - not in a ghoulish way though - these ghost town ones have everything from simple wooden crosses to fairly ornate tombstones. There could be worse places

Interesting cemetery and pretty landscape shot. I find the fences around the gravesite unusual.
