Mine too. You can drive 100 miles and never get bored, the time will pass so quickly. V

Classic! This is a (rare) case where the horizon in the middle actually works to advantage to emphasize the vast open space against the sky. Well done!

Splendid view

Lovely shot, the only thing I would change is to clone out that one little pole on the left. For some reason my eye is drawn to it. I really like the slight vignetting on the corners.

Yep, that IS a good one. Just like they seem in indie road movies!

I just agree with all the other comments. Simple lines, great perspective - excellent.

Love this shot. Highway to heaven. :)

My favorite from your B&W gallery... The contrast of the warm colors and the blue of the sky creates it's own atmosphere. I like both of them. Voted, too.
Kind regards,
rhett

I like the b&w one better.
Robin Reid16-Sep-2005 02:01
Oh yes mine too. Straight as an arrow. I'll bet you stopped, got out, and stood right in the center. No shooting from the car for you! ;-)
Dave Beedon 07-Aug-2005 05:33
The B&W version is ominous; this is exciting!

Very beautiful evocative image. The open road - lonely or liberating? Gets my vote.

Mine, too... someone once told me that in a previous life I was probably an antelope because I like to see forever.. mountains don't thrill me. Give me a wide sky any day...beautiful photo.
