1826 N-7

Year: 1826
Type: Liberty (Matron) Head Large Cent
Variety: N-7
Grade: RAW
Mintage: 1,517,425

This variety, N-7, is easiest to spot by the repunching/recutting below the R
in LIBERTY. It is a common variety, R1. The above example has nice surfaces
and a deep brown coloration as shown in the photos. The well-circulated
coin has a number of old small nicks and scratches to be expected in a coin
that clearly spent signficant time circualating, but none really detract from
in-hand appeal.

This coin was purchased on eBay.
