I took a lot of shots of the bowl before pouring the soup. This was my favorite, just liked the light. It just happended that I did not use the flash for this one. I got the final image by using the move tool to add the soup being poured from the next image to create the final image for the contest. As you can see, the setting is placed on a piece of clear plastic. I've used it a couple times and you get some nice reflections of the subject on the plastic surface.
