I had a simple photograph in mind while looking for this shot, representing the stillness and emptiness of trees in winter. After the sun had sunk below the tree-line, an orange ember glow enveloped the horizon. Taken at Ducklington Lake, Witney, with a 3 stop soft grad reversed.
