White Campion,Silene latifolia

A sun-lovin’ wildflower frequently found on roadsides or hedgerows, white campion has 5 deeply notched white petals on each flower. This hairy plant exudes a scent at night that attracts moths for pollination between May and September. The plant is unusual as it is not a hermaphrodite; individuals are either male or female.
