darker and the sun was a little lower on the horizon. This photo was taken from a
closer and much lower point of view with greater emphasis on the rocks in the foreground.

I am not sure what made you to change that spectacular image , but now I can see very weird blending line between skies and the see on the left, as if some tsunami is approaching, LOL !
