I concur with Mary's comments. And the snow on the feet highlighting the structure gives greater understanding of the descriptor 'snowshoe' hare.

A lovely almost mono, high key shot of a wonderful hare. The expression and the way it is staring you out is so amusing. And you have such beautiful details in the snow and the fur. V
