Japanese Beetles Being Bad 17059

(Popillia japonica)

Not very destructive in its native Japan, where it is controlled by natural enemies, in North America
the Japanese Beetle is a serious pest to rose bushes, grapes, canna, crape myrtles, and other plants, so I doubt this is a welcome sight to avid gardeners.

Photographed in Ottawa, Ontario - the capital of Canada.
