Here's another Accurail covered hopper undergoing the roofwalk replacement process. The areas where cutting and filing occurred at the ends are a little more difficult to identify since the base plastic is similar in color to the factory paint. I've also removed a little more paint underneath the roofwalk on this car than the other one in an attempt to smooth the surface a little better. I determined this wasn't necessary and haven't gone so far on the other Accurail cars shown here. This car also has a single replacement hatch from an MDC/Roundhouse FMC 4700cf covered hopper kit that is also in the pipeline to be upgraded.
