I looked through the horde of gulls sitting on Pace Point, and missed this Laugher on my 1st pass through. Initially the bird was facing me dead-on, so that the head and back couldn't be seen. I finally noticed the dark legs.

Pace Point is a great place for Laughers in TN this time of the year. There were also at least 3 Laughing Gulls on the favored island just below the bridge at Paris Landing.
