This and the next 3 photos are all of the same individual, 1st found by Jeff Wilson at Pace Point on 2-21-04. In this photo the bird appears darker overall than it actually was, but the nape is coming off as a paler brown. Note the long, thick neck, and noticeable upturned attitude of the head and bill. This bird typically kept this posture, which with the combination of this and its huge size and pale coloration, allowed it to be seen and ID'd from trememdous distances in decent conditions.
