These are 2 of the 3 spiffy little 1st-winter Franklin's Gulls that were present on Pace Point at the Big Sandy Unit of the TN National Wildlife Refuge. This daintly little gull is one of my favorites, and the occasional spring bird in breeding plumage is a real treat.
