This is a very rare helicopter in North America, and almost as big a thrill as the Sky Lark I had come to the airport here in Victoria to see! This originally is a Russian Naval Design, and though it has seen a good bit of civil use, the only operator in North America is Vancouver Island Helicopters. They fly 3 of these, most often using them for logging and fire-fighting operations.
