Bad image, never could get a good angle. The smoky duck in the middle is a Mallard x Black hybrid. Many of these birds look like Black Ducks with some green on the head, but they can also look like smoky Mallards. It isn't evident in this shot, but the underlying Mallard pattern obvious.
