The riparian area I was birding for the Pacific/Winter Wrens was literally crawling with Mule Deer, includig this very nice buck as we checked each other out. I was afraid to change cameras at the time, but would have been a nice shot with all of the rack in the frame, which I could have done with the 7D/70-200 combo.
