Light was terrible today, with a light misty rain most of the time I was there.
This was a BIG bird, and the massive bill is evident here. Notice also how the eye blends into the bill, with the broad patch of skin between the eye and the bill.
The bird was very dusky overall. A young Tundra of this age should be much whiter overall, and most still have some obvious pink left in the middle of the bill.
