The west side of Pace Point was completely iced in, but the east side was covered with ducks. There were 5 Common Mergansers in this area today; 4 that stayed pretty much together (2 male and 2 female), and another female that hung out with the dabblers and didn't stay with the others.

In this photo (taken from near the parking area, and looking across over the point), the two males are visible towards the right of the photo, one on each side of a log, and two females are behind the log, one with just her head visible.
