Yet another surprise was this pair of adult Tundra Swans. They were in the Bennett's Creek bay. When seen initially they were asleep and behind some willows, and initially written-off as Pelicans! Finally, David Kirschke noticed they were in fact swans! Though not visible in this distant shot, in addition to the head/bill profile, small yellow spots were present on the bills of the birds.
