I had a pair of Lark Sparrows at one of my oldest and most reliable fields today. When I 1st heard one sing, it was on a wire over the field. But, after parking and walking back, he had moved to the treeline right beside the road. Hard to get a spot to see him, but finally found a spot I was only partially blocked.
