Berylline Hummingbird

El Sumidero; Chiapas, MX

Berylline was the most common hummer here, but there was good diversity. Among others were Canivet's Emerald, Plain-capped Starthroat, and Ruby-throated, Azure-crowned, and Buff-bellied Hummers. The star though was the male Slender Sheartail we had at the visitor center.

Endemic Mexico to northern Central America.
