I had a group of 6 Westerns feeding along the edge of the road along Hwy 213 going to Gray's Camp at Black Bayou. When I stopped and got out, 5 of the birds worked on out in the field, but this one stayed close enough for a photo anyway.

These birds are in fresh plumage, and while some of the yellow malar is still veiled, a nice section is shining through.
