This strange comet was visible only in very large telescopes until it suddenly brightened by nearly a million times! It is now visible, in the constellation Perseus, to the naked eye. Binoculars or a telescope will reveal the disk-like appearance of its dust & gas cloud or 'coma'. Compared to the photos from 28 October - 8 November, the expansion of the coma and the movement against the background stars is obvious.
