This image was taken at sunrise at the stunning location of Loch Druim Suardalain located close to the town of Lochinver
On arrival the weather was bleak with rain and wind however we persevered with a high degree of patience
It turned out well worth the wait as the sun rose behind Suilven mountain creating a scene like a volcano
The other mountain in the shot is the Quinag and wisps are from the cloud coming from the wind swept Suilven
