cooper's hawk

I have front shots here through foggy lens that shows this is a cooper's.

About 20 inches tall, 4 or 5 inches too tall for a sharp-shinned - these birds are brave during the worst snow storm of the year
and the song birds around the feeder a very abundent today - click here to see them hiding in a bush.
But not before a little guy got nabbed by the resident Sharp-shinned Hawk.

Great atmosphere! The falling snow gives this capture a very pleasing painterly effect!
