Achim's well-respected career began with a 4-year apprenticeship at EK Greens. He then traveled abroad to continue his studies in Europe, specifically France and Germany. The focus, back then, was on learning slowly and thoroughly. It was about getting yourself completely enmeshed in the process. Achim's attributes his, and Cabriere's, holistic view of wine making to these early adventures.
